Aapua is Reima's warmest toddler snowsuit, made with responsible down insulation. It is made with ReimaTec material, which means it is also fully waterproof.  All seams sealed waterproof and a water column rating of 10,000 and breathablity 8,000.

With a generous 200g Fellex Eco Flex insulation, a particularly warm, synthetic down-like insulation.

  • Fellex-Eco is designed to trap air, much like down feathers, which provides thermal insulation.
  • Flexible and compressible, it is particulary suitable for active children who are skiing, snowboarding, or playing outdoors.
  • Generally continues to insulate when damp better than natural down as it is non-clump forming when damp.  Damp caused caused by perspiration can clump down if the garment isn't breathable enough
  • “Eco” refers to the use of recycled fibres/materials in the insulation.
  • It is machine-washable and easier to care for than down.

The 10,000 mm waterproofing, with all seams sealed, means it will handle snow, wet snow and sitting/playing in snow very well - particulary in Lapland where children are more likely to play in the snow.

The extra insulation around the seat area is excellent for toddlers sitting on sleds, snowbanks, benches or reindeer rides.

The waterproof design is made from a breathable and windproof material that repels dirt.  The smooth lining makes dressing easy and the long front zip, making it considerably easier to get a wriggly toddler into!

For children visiting Lapland, colder or early season ski resports the Hasula is brilliant for activities such as:

  • husky/sleigh rides
  • reindeer rides
  • playing in deep snow
  • snowmobiling with a parent
  • sledging
  • walking around a winter resort
  • sitting in a buggy/pushchair
  • generally being outside in temperatures around -10°C to -30°C

Other features include a detachable and adjustable hood (with cute ears) which is also safe when little ones are playing outdoors – connected with snap buttons, it comes off easily if it gets caught on something. Durable silicone foot loops keep the leg hems in place, protecting little ankles from moisture and the cold.
