The Salice CRXP lens is essentially a photochromic + polarised lens. It combines two useful technologies:

  • Photochromic: it automatically changes how dark it is as light levels change.
  • Polarised (Polarflex): it filters reflected horizontal light, substantially reducing glare from snow and improving visual comfort and contrast.
  • 2026 CRXP range: Category 2–4, so it gets quite dark in strong sunlight. 

The polarisation is the extra feature with these ski goggles, and that's particularly relevant on snow because reflected glare can wash out the terrain and make it hard to see the bumps and changes in terrain.

The flexible frame makes it comfortable to wear and an ideal companion on the slopes for your child. The venting on the frame helps the air flow through and this coupled with the antifog coating on the internal lens helps reduce the possibility of fogging.

DACRXPF Ski Goggles:

  • DA = double lens / double-lens construction, with anti-fog treatment.
  • CRXP: CRX Photochromic + Polarflex polarised

What that means on the ski slope:

Cloudy / lower light → lens is lighter, allowing more light through.
Bright sun → lens darkens, reducing brightness.
Sun reflecting off snow → polarisation cuts a significant amount of the harsh reflected glare.
Terrain definition → polarisation helps preserve comfortable contrast by reducing glare, while the amber lens colour contributes to the visual characteristics.
