There’s no official launch date yet, but it’s planned from sometime in 2024 so you need to be aware for any skiing holidays booked in the New Year.
Once it’s available, you’ll need to register your details with ETIAS before your holiday and pay the €7 application fee. ETIAS travel authorisation is an entry requirement for visa-exempt nationals travelling to any of the 30 European countries shown below. It is linked to a traveller’s passport and is valid for up to three years or until the passport expires, whichever comes first. If you get a new passport, you need to get a new ETIAS travel authorisation.
