Great news for skiers and snowboarders: the much-loved Eurostar Snow Train is returning for the 2025/26 winter season. This dedicated service from London to the French Alps offers a sustainable, scenic, and stress-free alternative to flying — and it’s perfect for those travelling with ski gear.
Whether you’re heading to Val d’Isère, Les Arcs, or Courchevel, here’s everything you need to know to plan your trip on the Snow Train.
The Eurostar Snow Train is a seasonal rail service linking London to the French Alps with just one simple change in Lille. It’s designed specifically for winter sports travellers, offering direct access to top alpine resorts via a train journey that’s both eco-friendly and comfortable.
You'll change at Lille (on the same platform — no dragging bags across the station), before continuing to the mountains aboard a high-speed French TGV.
Outbound journeys:
Operates every Saturday from 20 December 2025 to 28 March 2026
Departure: London St Pancras early morning
Arrival: Bourg-Saint-Maurice by 17:45, with stops including:
Chambéry
Albertville
Moûtiers
Aime-la-Plagne
Landry
Return journeys:
Saturday return: Departs Bourg at 13:45, arrives in London at 21:27
Sunday return: Departs at 10:54, arrives in London at 18:57
Final return service: 5 April 2026

From Bourg-Saint-Maurice, local buses and private transfers take you directly to your resort.
