Behind the Scenes at Little Skiers
At Little Skiers, we’ve always believed that family adventures are the best adventures, and that’s exactly how our business began. Long before we were packing ski jackets into boxes and helping parents find the perfect thermals for their little ones, we were simply a family who loved the mountains and wanted to make skiing with children easier, warmer, and a whole lot more fun.
A Family Business Through and Through
Little Skiers is proudly run by the Bradshaw family, and if you’ve ever phoned, emailed, or messaged us online, you’ve probably already met one of us. Here’s a little peek behind the scenes at who does what.
Tess – Founder & The Heart of the Office
Tess founded Little Skiers in 2008, inspired by her own challenges trying to find reliable, high-quality ski gear for her young children. What began at the kitchen table has grown into a thriving family business helping thousands of families prepare for magical days on the mountain.

When you call Little Skiers, Tess is often the first friendly voice you’ll hear. She is responsible for the website and buying our Kids Ski Wear Collections. She knows our products inside out and is always ready to help with sizing questions, packing suggestions, or last-minute ski-trip worries. Many customers know her by name, and for good reason. She’s warm, patient, and brilliant at finding exactly what you need.
Chris – Director
Joining Little Skiers in 2012, Chris oversees the logistics and ensures everything runs smoothly from the moment you place your order to the moment it arrives at your door. If there’s a delivery question to be solved, Chris - and often Sam—is already on it.
Sam – Head of Operations
If you’ve emailed Little Skiers, there’s a good chance Sam has been the one replying. As Head of Operations, he manages order enquiries, stock movements, and makes sure your order is processed seamlessly. He also works closely with Chris to resolve delivery questions and keep everything in the warehouse running efficiently.
Amelie – Social Media

If you’ve messaged us on Instagram, Facebook, or any other platform, you’ve already met Amelie. She brings a fresh, youthful touch to our social media, sharing product ideas, updates, mountain inspiration, and helpful answers. She ensures our online community feels just as supported as customers who call or email.
Meet the Rest of Our Wonderful Team
While the Bradshaw family is at the core of Little Skiers, we’re lucky to have a brilliant extended team who help keep everything running smoothly, especially during the busy winter ski season.
Lou – Head of Marketing
If you call the office, you may also speak to Lou. As Head of Marketing, she brings creativity, strategy, and a passion for family adventures to everything she does, whether it’s planning marketing campaigns, updating the website design, or helping customers on the phone.
Tracey – Buyer & Customer Service
Tracey is our expert buyer and also part of our friendly customer service team. She helps choose many of products we stock, making sure we offer the very best kit for families heading to the mountains. She also assists customers with queries, ensuring they get exactly what they need for their trip.
Jane - Customer Service & Accounts Admin
Jane is also part of our office team, turning her hand to nearly anything. From helping customers, processing returns and accounts admin - she can also be found packing orders when extra help is needed!
Our Amazing Pickers & Packers
Behind the scenes, our warehouse team works exceptionally hard, especially in the run-up to February half term skiing holidays. They pick, pack, and prepare your orders with speed, care, and accuracy, making sure everything arrives on time and ready for your adventure. We couldn’t do what we do without them!
Why We Love What We Do
Little Skiers is more than a business, it’s a family project built from years of snowy holidays, shared enthusiasm, and the belief that nothing beats seeing a child enjoy their first turns on the mountain. We know what it’s like to prepare for a ski trip with children in tow, because we’ve been there ourselves.
Whether you’re planning your first family ski holiday or you’ve been heading to the mountains for years, we’re here to help - with genuine advice, tried-and-tested gear, and a friendly team ready to answer the phone, reply to your email, or respond to your message.
