Little Skiers is a family business run by parents who love outdoor adventures with our two active kids.  Little Active Kids Ltd has three websites, Crafts4Kids (arts and crafts, toys and science kits for active minds), Little Skiers (ski wear and skiing accessories) and Little Surfers (kids wetsuits, bodyboards and kids rash vests).

I started the company at home in 2008 when my children were still toddlers - the idea came after we had been on our first skiing holiday with a baby - gosh how much preparation and planning that took!   About Little Skiers

Each skiing holiday gave me ideas; I wanted Sam to have fun in the snow before starting ski school and had seen other people on the slopes with toddler plastic skis and ski training reins but I couldn't find them anywhere (please see our equipment section) - we now manufacture our own Little Skis

My husband, Chris, joined in 2013 after years of commuting to London to run the company together. We source the best children's ski wear from the UK, Europe and the World and find the most innovative and practical ski training aids and skiing accessories on the market.  I have compiled suggested packing lists and have useful information pages within our Little Skiers Blog to assist other like-minded parents when planning a family ski holiday.

Our aim is to provide children's ski clothing of the highest quality and durability at reasonable prices with our focus firmly on unsurpassed customer service.  We have created ski clothing sets which represent great value if you need to kit your whole child out from head to toe. We also have a loyalty programme, across all three of our websites: Little Skiers, Little Surfers and Crafts4kids simply log in before you buy and earn points every time you shop.  Points earnt in Little Skiers can be redeemed in Crafts4Kids - allows you to save money come Christmas and birthdays! Read more here.

Last skiing season was one we will all remember, unfortunately like many others our holiday was cancelled. We are in unknown terriority currently not knowing how the next season will pan out, which skiing businesses will survive until then.  But within these difficlut times, people come together and overcome huge obstacles.  Watch this BBC video in the Finnish resort of Levi, 93 miles north of the Arctic Circle where the ski season normally goes into May. That was cut short when they had to close in March because of Covid-19, despite having the best snowfall in living memory.  So locals have decided they must do something to help themselves next season – so the resort is using special fabric to wrap up the snow and save it for next season.

Thanks for visiting our website, keep safe - Tess & Chris
