Molo MMP 4 Piece Ski Wear Set
Danish designers, Molo, are passionate about kids clothes. They are
not a big design factory that treats children's clothing as a secondary
line so the clothes are full of fun, with quirky details set within the
context of the clean "raw" design traditions of Northern Europe.
The OUTER LAYER (jacket and pants included) must create a protective shield from the
wind and weather. This layer has to resist wind, rain and cold but must
also be breathable so that it is comfortable for the child. MMP's outer
layer is made of a functional shell material. The strength of the
shell material is that it is light, which means it is easy to move
around in but it is still extremely wind and water resistant. This can be worn alone in Autumn and Spring and as it gets colder, introduce the next layer:
The MIDDLE LAYER purpose is to retain warmth. It is an
insulation layer that must release moisture without losing warmth.
MMP's middle layer is made of a lightweight, fleece quality.
These two layers should be sufficient for most children skiing unless you are skiing at high altitude or early in America, then we would also recommend a third layer of thin thermals.
