Little Skiers take security very seriously indeed and as such have chosen Worldpay to handle all of our payments. Little Skiers customers' card and account details are captured on Worldpay secure servers, so Little Skiers do not have access to your card details.

Worldpays payment processing service supports internationally recognised security checks including:
• Card Verification Value (CVV2)
Credit card companies have realised the fact that cards are being used for fraudulent transactions. In order to protect their clients from fraud they have introduced measures to reduce the risk of fraud. One of them is the CVC2 code (Card Verification Code). This code is NEVER embossed on the card nor is it available in the information stored in the magnetic strip. Most cards have it printed on the back of the card (the last three digits of the large number), some have it printed on the front of the card (AMEX) and use four digits.
• Address Verification Service (AVS)
Worldpay checks your address and postcode against the details the card-issuer holds in the database for this card. The address that is verified needs to be the address that is known as the billing address of the card. In most fraud cases (f.i. generated card number, stolen card, card number from Internet), the address details are not known to the fraudulent shopper. In this way, AVS can reduce the risk of fraudulent use of your card. Worldpay sends address information to the financial institute handling the payment. The financial institute forwards the transaction details (including address info) to the card-issuing bank. The card issuer verifies the address details and returns an address check status.
• Cardholder authentication (Verified by Visa and MasterCard SecureCode). Verified by Visa is a simple password-protected identity-checking service that takes the risk out of online shopping – both for you and for us. You have the confidence to spend online safely and securely. Verified by Visa is provided by Visa, the world’s most trusted electronic payment system.
Whenever Little Skiers receives a payment that is flagged by Worldpay as a warning we will ALWAYS telephone you first to confirm that you placed the order, the correct address has been used etc. We NEVER accept an order or payment without first checking that the customer did in fact place the order.
