Little Skiers is a family run business, born out of my love of skiing and from the initial hassles I encountered when we started to go on family skiing holidays with a young toddler and baby. We quickly discovered that there is so much preparation and planning to do and there is a distinct lack of good quality ski wear shops that specialised in children's ski wear or advice.
We struggled to find local ski shops that sold a decent selection of quality children's ski clothing. We wanted to let our 3 year have fun in the snow before ski school and couldn't find plastic skis or training aids like the ski trainer which we had seen other parents use in the ski resorts. I also didn't want to compromise on quality or technical features as I wanted to be confident that they would be warm and comfortable and I wanted jackets that could double up as school coats.
As a result, I started Little Skiers in 2008 to offer great products to like-minded parents but also practical help and advice for those taking their little ones skiing. Take a browse through the newly updated information pages which are jam packed with ideas and resources to help preparing for a skiing trip.
My aim is to provide childrens ski clothing that are of the highest quality and durability with still being great value. As parents we understand the need for value for money, so we have put together ski clothing packs which represent great value when having to kit your whole child out.
We only sell clothes and accessories that we would be happy having our children in (see our most recent holiday snaps below) Our children wear the ski jackets as winter school coats, so consider them a sound investment, but please remember: don't wash them with detergents, only use Nik Wax technical cleaners and waterproofing products and they will keep your children's ski clothing in tip top condition (they can be found in the equipment section).
As our two children have grown up they also have an input into our buying choices, especially Amelie who loves going through the girls ski jacket catalogues with me. She chose the Trespass Antonia ski jacket which had bright pink butterflies on, i thought a bit loud, but what do I know as it turned out to be our best seller for 2 years running! For this forthcoming season (available Sept 2013) she chose the Trespass Talia ski jacket with bold stripes! So watch out as the new lines start appearing September onwards.
We have just refreshed the website with lots of new features, the most requested being size guides on the products, wish lists to save your browsing ideas and now we can offer free delivery on all orders over £70.

And lastly, just to show my 2 little skiers in Flaine, France in April 2013. Amelie is now 7 yrs (and is wearing the KoziKidz Whistler set) and Sam is now 9 years old and is (still) wearing his beloved Barts Little Devil helmet cover and Trespass ski jacket and nando pants. He was easy to spot in the white outs!
