About us
Little Skiers is a family run business, born out of our love of skiing and from the initial hassles we encountered when we started to go on family skiing holidays with a young toddler and baby. We quickly discovered that there is so much more to think of and there is a distinct lack of good quality ski wear shops that specialised in children's ski wear or advice.
We struggled to find ski shops nearby that sold a selection of high quality children's ski jackets and kids ski pants. We wanted one shop that stocked everything, from childrens skiing fleeces to kids ski helmets, from childrens ski socks to decent childrens thermals. There wasn't the range of suitable accessories for younger children like plastic skis or training aids like the ski trainer which we had seen in many European resorts. I also didn't want to compromise on quality or technical features just because they were children's ski clothing.
As a result, I have created this site to provide help and advice for those taking their little ones skiing as well as a shop, where you can be sure all the products are of top quality and of great value. As parents we understand the need for value for money, so this year we have put together more packs which represent great value, like ski jacket, pants, hats and ski gloves sets for under £80 and learn to ski packs to get discounts when the ski trainer & ski tip clips are bought together.
Our children wear the ski jackets we sell as winter coats as well so consider them a sound investment, but please remember: don't wash them with detergents, only use nikwax technical cleaners and waterproofers and they will keep your children's ski clothing in tip top condition.
